If I have left my multi longer than 60 seconds since turning the dash off, is there any way of operating the steering lock without having to turn the dash back on and then off again? Thanks in advance
Dont turn it off, let it go off. Then walk it to park place. Turn sterring and if u have key it will prompt for steering lock.
If you have a tracker fitted after the dash goes off & you move the bike. Expect a phone call sooner than later.
Mine is a 1200s 2010, i will check it again but pretty sure, i stop, kill engine but leave pilot light on, it goes off when i open garage and faff about, then when i roll it in and push the steering to the side and it hits the arm, it lights up to lock, at that point i hold the button to. Lock and it does without turning on again. . .
