Yeah the point is plenty can afford it and we get to watch them do it with the added benefit that our next bike maybe better cause of it.
Ah - yes - you watch....2 years time in performance bikes or fast bikes or whatever someone'll have bought one and then changed the wheels, subframe, clutch or whatever for example cos the " stock wheels were 2grams heavier..." or some shit like that...and "stockbroker Dave, thought that the seat was uncomfortable so had one made out of panda eyelids as it was softer...."
At that price, I would expect the brake & clutch levers to be hand carved out of Claudio Domenicali's finger bones ...
i think the riding experience would be dampened a bit knowing how expensive it would be if you accidently dropped it etc. even if I could afford it I think I would seriously consider not. would look good in my massive hallway if I had one haha.
