Hi all could anyone help as I'm trying to find the size of the hole in bottom yoke for my paddock stand. Have no way of measuring it all I know is that it's bigger than the blade witch was a 24mm. Many thanks.
Checked the workshop manual, no dimension that I could find. Sorry. Try googling the stand suppliers, someone might have stated the size.
Tried today at the nec bike show on the Ducati stand but wasn't much help. Also asked at some of the independent stands but no good. Thanks for reply tho.
Just went out into the cold, there is a little cover, if you pop that off can't you see the base of the yoke? Sorry if I'm stating the obvious and you've tried this.
Yeah have exposed the yoke but have no way to measure the hole. 28.9mm sounds about right as the 24mm was way smaller so another 4/5mm should be about rite. Thanks again
Before settling on 28mm for the 1199 I ran a tape across the stem as best I could then tried to shove a £2 coin up it, so to speak. £2 coin is 28.4mm diameter from memory according the the Royal Mint and wouldn't fit. Not the best method I admit but worth a punt.
