I have a chance on a 1299 exhaust, will this for the 959 to ditch the side pipes or do I have to change anything? I know u need to change the fairing panel but anything else ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Y pipe that connects it to the headers. The959 one is too short and won't reach the 1299 underbelly section.
You don't need the headers (same on 959/1299), so don't change those because you don't need to. Just take off the 959 underbelly section and y-pipe that connects it to the headers, and swap it for the y-piece and cans from the 1299. The y-piece is a bit of a pig because of how it fits around the swingarm, but it is doable!
