Hey Guys! Thanks for adding me to the forum. Biking is my biggest passion. I have been riding for over 8 years now. This is not my first time on a forum, been a part of many other biking forums. Recently joined the Ducati Forum as i'm on the verge of buying a Diavel. I currently live in Lagos, Nigeria and I ride a 2014 BMW R1200Gs and a Harley Davidson Fatboy. My next bike is going to be a Diavel. Thanks and Regards, Arjun.
Hello Arjun and welcome. The Diavel is a hoot - my husband has one, and we both test rode one before he bought it. It can potter along slowly, and is surprisingly civilised in town, and then swing from bend to bend with surprising ease, or take off for the horizon at warp speed if you open the throttle. Not sure how good/bad the roads are in Nigeria, but the suspension is not the Diavel's strongest feature. The ride quality is not as awesome as the engine - if the potholes of Lagos are even worse than the potholes of Surrey, you might want to look at aftermarket suspension upgrades.
Hello MrsC_772, Thanks a lot for your inputs. Well to start off with, the roads in Nigeria are not good, many potholes and bumps to deal with. I'm looking to buy the Diavel for more of city ride and some highway fun over the weekends. I also have a Harley, and they are not very popular for their suspension, so I'm guessing the Ducati won't be as bad. I am going to test ride the Diavel tomorrow as it is available on sale with a local dealer.
welcome - would you happen to know Prince Jumati Redendum, who lives in Nigeria, and promised me four million dollars last July, once I sent him a $2500 bank transfer fee ?
Looking at my spam mail box, i should've been worth some million dollars by now but i decided to overcome the temptation Lol. By the way, I'll try and find that Prince who promised you millions.
Hello and welcome, some pictures of your local would be good, like the pub or local interesting geographical features, deffo not any bike pics though, it's all some folk think about here and it's getting a tad monotonous !
