  1. Good morning chaps, I bought an M750 6months ago for it only to spin the flywheel on the crank, further investigation somebody had welded the two together to a very good chance it cannot be repaired without complete dismantle which I don't have the time or experience to do? I am after an engine to replace the one I have preferably the same motor or bigger what can you guys offer or recommend based on what's available, would like to at least ride a few laos on the Isle of Man this year ;)

Thanks in advance to any help at all

  2. Welcome Dave. Why don't you introduce yourself properly in the newbies section ;)

  3. Thank you? Anybody have one abit cheaper and possibly somebody who knows the engine? How come this are quite expensive? Between forum members deals and low prices are usually the case? Thank you guys for the help so far

£475.99 is their asking price - it's not likely there is a long queue of people after it right now, so you might make him an offer based on what you're willing to pay. DK import container loads of bikes from the States, so will not have any emotional tie to the engine, it is strictly business - if they have had it for a while and no enquiries, they may let it go at your price. If they do not, just leave it, there are plenty more out there.

  5. If any use, I have a mint crank and rods for a 2002 M750, Might have some other bits if you had considered rebuilding it. Keeps your engine number on the V5 etc . Where are you located?

  6. Live on the Isle of Man bud, I'd prefer to get another cheap motor that somebody knows is "ok" that I can put in and use the bike until "life" or I mean wife and kids allow some fundage to rebuild the broken motor, all with hope to put some time into the motor and some fun parts but with a bike not worth much and having to fork out a wedge on something that wouldn't get a lot of use in the winter anyway in struggling to justify it but hate looking at a bike that I can't ride :)

Thanks for the info on the engine I will look into that and keep in contact

    Thanks guys much appreciated
