999 Sound Deadening Panels

  1. Question: the sound deadening padding inside the fairing either side of the engine, is there any other point? Do I need it? Anyone run without them?

  4. Pop em off and pop em back on again :) If you're careful the spring steel fasteners can be removed and re used.

  7. Take them off.

    I did and it made cleaning easier as any dirt gets washed off the insides rather than sitting under the foam.

    I had to use cutters to get the spring washers off without damaging the tabs.
