I love my Multi but it may be time to move on.... Only had it a year and only done 1500 miles in that time. Was running fine and no errors last week. Then the dealers collected it and then they went to service it today to find a 'handsfree ' error. Part £300 plus vat but they are going to see whether Ducati will give any goodwill but even if they do I expect labour on top. After about 9 ducatis maybe time for something cheaper and different.... maybe less temperamental
I reckon the MT09 series may be worth a look, although MT10 will be a year old now so probably decent value
Think I will be just getting a £3 or £4k bike with the mileage I do. Just annoying that what was a working bike here has now turned into a non-working bike and what was a cheap annual service is now going to add up :rage:
I like the convenience of handsfree but this sort of *tail is disturbing. I do hope as many here will, that you get it replaced free of charge. *tale
Well this ended up ok in the end. Riders who are servicing the bike managed to get Ducati to pay for the part (which would have been £460), so I just paid for fitting it. Back thursday and cant wait! I was going to sell up but think I will keep it now. I do love the thing......
Good for you. My bike is at the dealers with same issue. I'm still waiting for the to call me. Hope they act the same.
