  1. Got a few biking related things for sale, will try them on here before Ebay pain!

Tomtom rider 410. Complete with ram mount, cradle, wiring, box etc. Bought last year and literally used a few times on the GS.
Unmarked screen, I just cant come to terms with Tomtom operating system after years of Garmin, so it looks like I will take a big hit on the money. @£225 - SOLD

Multistrada 1200 '13 model year inner bags. very good condition but small damage to lug on zip, will post pictures later. Reasonable offer secures.

MTS 1200 Socket for rear wheel. £10

Got a standard screen, the crud catcher thing off back wheel and standard front fork internals. Just want shot, collection only (free, just want shot.)

Arai Ducati crash helmet. Nice helmet, small chip on paint but looks and feels very nice on. Medium. £95 with nearly new tinted visor. 20160522_144234.jpg SOLD

Prefer collection from Consett for items but delivery arranged at cost with cleared funds on for sale items.

  3. Whats the problem regarding operating system on the tomtom?
How did you have it mounted to your bike was it straight to the battery or via a plug port or any other way?

  4. Pm'd

  5. Ok. For anybody interested in the Arai.

I bought the helmet from a friend, after knocking off the crash bobbin on his bike, half caught it on top of my foot but couldnt stop the final 2-3" of travel to the ground. Hence one very small chip in the paint. Never crashed and completely safe. Paid well over the £95 asking price as it seemed the right thing to do. Need to be nit picking to think it is not worth £95 imo, It also wasnt the best of places for the helmet tbh and he doesnt leave his helmets dangling off the side of his bike any more (do you mate..)

The chip in the paint is very small, mark on right side is actually flash from the camera. Very nice helmet in good condition. My Mrs used it a few times and its mostly sat in a box in the garage. I prefer a helmet with a peak, and would use the Arai but for looking silly on BMW gs (soon to be KTM) by wearing a Ducati crash helmet.

assuming some thing similar is now £350-£500?

  7. On the last picture, it looks like a scratch below the spoiler, that is flash from the camera again.

  8. Replied again :)

  9. Just that I have used Garmin on the motorcycle and in the car (with car cradle) for over 250'000 miles. Tomtom works fine, just different and I'm not coping!
was mounted on the cross bar above the clocks on the GS. Using a ram mount and U bolt thing (pictured). The BM has a plug n play behind the fairing which is ignition live. Bought a connector socket from Nippy Normans. Still soldered on to end of wire. No problem going to battery if wanted though that would leave a permanent live cradle (leading to a flat battery if sat nav left in holder for extended time..) Easy enough to find an ignition live on most bikes, its not much draw on the electrics.
