Why are our major bike shows held in the winter months ?

  1. Why on earth is the NEC international bike show held in November, the London Excel in January.

I have never rode to the NEC, always to bloody cold, i have only ridden to the London show once, and got caught in heavy rain. If they were held in the summer months, i am sure lots more people would go.

  2. We have nothing better to do in the wet dark cold shitty months than go to such shows.

Take the car, or the train? That bargain paddock stand will be an interesting bungee-on to your motorcycle later...

  3. Gives me a winter fix of bikes, plus, need the car to bring home the goodies
    Mark

  4. Cant see the point of paying to go in a showroom.

  5. So that you buy a new bike in the spring.
