Buying Ducati gear in london

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by usernumbernine, Dec 2, 2012.

  1. Hey Guys,

Quick question. Does anyone here know where I could buy ducati gear in london? Looking for a jacket primarily and possibly bike accessories. The only one I found on their site is Metropolis Motorcycles but I have heard terrible things about them and was wondering if there's anyone else.

    Thanks a lot!

  2. Is google broken?

  3. Hi there. Welcome to the site :)

Not sure of any personally but I know we have a number of London members who will hopefully be along shortly to help out.

    Cheers.

    Rob.

  4. InMoto in Croydon, Rosso Corse in Stepney Green, and Ducatibikes.co.uk in Wandsworth are just three that spring to mind

  5. I have nothing but good thing to say about the Barnet branch of Metropolis who from next month (Jan 2013) will be more Ducati centric. I dont have any experience with the Vauxhall branch thou. Mike at Barnet is very helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Tell him I sent you :upyeah: They are a small dealership so dont have very much Ducati clothing in stock, but are able to get stuff very easily. I know its a bit outside London, but Ducati Aylesbury have lots of stuff in stock and have used them several times

  6. InMoto would sell clothes, but Metrop is ok for buying kit. You can't really get it too far wrong if you're selling a jacket or boots. I buy my crash hats from them - their people are properly trained by Arai and will fit them well.

Damiano is the Ducati salesman and is almost too passionate about Ducatis.

  7. Thanks a lot for the tips guys will check them all out. Tried google before El Toro but couldn't find anything other than online shopping and I'm not a huge fan of buying clothing online.

As for the Metropolis thing I was doing some research for a Service Shop and read some bad things about them. Seems that Rosso Corse albeit a bit pricey is the way to go. Also heard people saying good things about MD Racing.

I just bought an 06 sport classic with 3K miles on the clock that hasn't been serviced for 2 years :( and wanted someone that could just take a look at the beast. Will probably take it to ducati corse.

    Thanks again fellas.
