Right so after having a nasty accident at football and on the 16 December having an opp to rebuild my knee graft a new acl etc etc I will no longer be able to keep hold of my 899 please believe me when I say this is a forced sale and I never ever thought I would be selling this bike !!! Keep it - you'll regret it later!! My acl was rebuilt twice and is now broke again (since 7 years), when the medials went also in me crash. You'll be amazed how you get fixed up and hopefully with a bit of time you'll be back "at it" same as before!! Good luck either way.
Couldn't agree more with this, I smashed my left ankle & lower leg to pieces 4 years ago due to a fall from a ladder... Initial assessment highlighted possibility of not being able to re-construct. I hadn't seen the light at this time and current bike was Jap IL4, 10 months later I was back in the saddle and now have a lovely 1198 in the garage. Ankle has never been the same since but most importantly, I have enough movement and strength in it to ride What ever you decide, good luck! And if you do sell, I'm sure you'll be more than welcome to hang around here
