Is the man that does not sleep awake? Chiz, you going on yer bike still?? I might drive down to on yer bike for 10ish, try on some clothes, see if Chiz arrives before I leave. Suns out, 80's music on... feeling it, that's the getting up early on days off and late nights, not the sense of adventure and thrill seeker in me, looks like a good day.
I put up some wall units that the lads in the workshop made for me, even edged the shelves red , white and green.
I've just started watching "Sons of Anarchy" for the first time. I'm on the second episode of series one. Think this will take up my free time Ove the next three weeks.
Don't think so Rob. I did think about one fleetingly last year but I don't think they're for me. I'd rather have the xdiavel
my mate picked me up and I took the lil monster I got off him to on ya bike. bumped into @Not Carl Fogarty ! It was a funny/sad day. Normally I'm on the 748/9/900ss and my bud is a yellow dot in my mirror on the 620.. Today he was on the 749 and I was the yellow dot. on the way up there. on the way back I done him at a round about and fucked off. I could see him miles back trying to catch up but in the end I had to wait for him! In fairness he got caught behind a few cars but it still made me smile and gave me some bragging rights!
230 miles, nice ride with @PeterT and a good look at @Cream_Revenge super tidy T9, then spectated at a bit of hooligan training school watching @Jolley & Dean giving it a fistful Next time Pete, just follow me back as you could have cut off a bit later and had a non-major A road run back 110 link chain on the 42t goes well, and means its back to being a lot lower again and was good to stretch the bike on occasion Summer's coming
Uploaded the video from last weekends fun and games. Brother qualified in #2 slot - not bad for a rookie!
Rode the new Triumph 1200 Explorer and really liked it :Bag:. In fact..... I'm seriously thinking about it..
I asked the girlfriend today, "As it's Easter, would you like to tie the knot?" "Tie your own feckin' shoelaces " was her response
Nose to the grind stone. Got 4 weeks to get Carole's 400RR NC29 ready to ship to Almeria. Picked up the new bodywork from the sprayer so got on with stripping the old bodywork off and replacing the (slightly) bent rear subframe. Offered up the lower fairing and it looks good with the holes lining up, just need to make up a set of spacers as this lower fairing appears to be just a little bit wider although the microfiche parts diagram does show top hat spacers and rubber washers that were definitely not present on the old one. Hey ho, trip up to the local nut and bolt man on Tuesday, no panic. Andy
Although this was yesterday. Went and joined a great group of guys/gals at Essex Moto Gymkhana. If you want to really learn how to handle your bike I would highly recommend. Been a couple of times now on the Hyper. It's all really tight turns, 360s, brake control etc... A guy on a Yamaha R125 was seriously kicking our ass. Essex Motogymkhana
I rode for the second time since my accident (first time in over a year) and for the first time with my brother since he lost his leg. Strange time with mixed feelings. A lot of the carefree fun has gone. Enjoyed the run out, but loads of pains...bum is all I can say.
