New to me St2 has an issue with the coolant temp showing LO on the dash. Research tells me this is the sensor on the front pot. I got a new one based on info on here a WTS05 but it does not fit. Far too long and wrong diameter. Anyone actually know which ones do fit and have tried and tested them? Bike is a 98
A WTS09 fits - if you can find one. The WTS05 can be made to fit but you will need to open out the hole in the housing a tiny bit to let it in. The length is of no consequence because there is plenty of room internally. Here is a data sheet that covers both of them.
Thanks Derek didn't realise you had to drill out the housing. As I am learning on this bike I shall avoid doing so until my learning curve is a bit more curved I have ordered two of these which are the equivalent of the WTS09.
