Hi, I haven't used this forum before, but selling my 2010 Ducati Monster 1100 ABS. I've only had it a year and it's been my favorite bike so far for my type of riding. Sadly need to sell it as I'm moving to Norway. A beautiful bike that always turns heads, quick acceleration, but also very easy to handle. Mileage will vary as I'm still using it (21k). Ducati maintenance intervals have been religiously followed – including timing belt and valve clearances. Recently changed: chain, sprockets, tyres, battery, filters, oil. Brakes and fluids are good. All receipts and log books included. Good condition - starts first time every time and has been very reliable. Some engine corrosion which is mainly on the clutch side (clutch cover is good). Comes with lots of extras, although the new owner can have the originals I have left (seat, mirrors, levers, headlight fairing, original number plate). Extras include: Ducati Performance Seat – more comfortable and makes it a little easier to manage for shorter riders. Termignoni Exhaust System Bitubo Steering Damper worth $500+ import tax - I lost a bolt recently so this has been removed. I'll include it with the bike if the new owner wants to order a new bolt or sell it. Folding bar end mirrors Evotech Radiator Guard Evotech Spindle Bobbins (front and rear) Evotech Crash Bobbins Strada Adjustable clutch and brake levers Carbon World Carbon Fiber Front and Rear Mudguards Oberon Clutch Slave Cylinder Corse Dynamics Stainless Steel Case Saver Fender Eliminator Rear seat cowl/fairing – has been rubbed a little from a tailbag on my European tours, Looking for a quick sale so make an offer. Sold as is. Viewings welcome (Chislehurst, Kent area). Send a pm if you're interested or call my Norwegian number on 0044 98 182 802. Happy to send more photos.
Yeah, sure. I tried to take a few more from my ride the other day. I just love it from this angle. It still has the brackets on from the steering damper which lost a bolt (the new owner will have to order a new bolt from Belissimo in the U.S. to reinstall the damper or sell it separately). I'm riding to Ducati tomorrow to get the original bolts and have the brackets removed as I missplaced them. If someone wants the bike before then I can have the bolts forwarded. Let me know if you want any more photos. The gold chain doesn't look clean here as I had just sprayed lube on it which I usually bring with me on my rides. I also flushed the clutch fluid yesterday.
Hi, I saw your bike on ebay 2 or 3 times over the last week or so. On one occasion it had a few bids, did the winning bidder not want to proceed ?
The winning bidder is offshore and couldn't collect right away. As I'm heading back to Norway and need it sold asap I relisted it. I do have a couple of offers which were too low, and another who is interested but just checking his insurance company first.
Thanks. Yeah, I feel it was made for my style of riding. Obviously you miss the fairing on long motorway journeys but as soon as you hit the A and B roads it comes to life. It's felt the most "planted" of my bikes so far.
