Not after I saw a carbon rear wheel explode coming out of the chicane at Assen 3 or 4 years ago. Think it was a Superstock 1000 but might have been an independant BSB team. One or more of the spokes disintegrated resulting in the total collapse of the rear wheel. Andy
that couldnt have been a nice feeling!! i keep thinking about changing the wheels out on my gsxr (as its only used on track now) for some light ones but really not sure what to go for. Mag, carbon or alloy. p.s sorry for hijacking the thread.
I had a 998 put some 999 Ohlins with p34/4 on the front and I must say I really noticed a difference in every way especially above 90mph ,now have a 1098s and it's gone to a new level
