Hi all. I stop my Multi !000DS 2005 night before in garage, other day morning I wanted start but nothing. when turn the key all lighy on instrument went on than 5 second went off and than pops up just oil,neutral and engine, usualy are blinks one by one and than went to oil.neutral and engine before start... when I try to press start nothing happen no sound of starter or atc. I tried to chceck all cables, ground cable to engine to. all fuses, but nothing. I bridged starter coil to baterry, starter run engine but engine doest fire. I cant see any error code on display bcs display is broken... whats can be? ECU? clusters? imobiliser? I tried redkey put in but same. I chcked kill switch looks ok. thanks you
I've no real idea, but if I remember right try disconnecting the dash by pulling out the connector then plug it back in after a few seconds - sometimes cures odd faults. Also try disconnecting the battery then reconnect. A bit like re-booting Windows! Have you checked the relays? One more thought, if the neutral sensor has a bad connection it will prevent the bike starting. It's somewhere on the top/back of the gearbox.
thanks yes I checked all relay actualy I swith light relay and starter relay thay looks same. and old work on light... I disconectet all milion time actualy right now I desamble bike untill last pace and tomorow I will do new color on frame . I bought new cluster, ECU , keys and imo. from one guy on facebook so I have time rebuild compleatly bike. I did already frame modification new gastank from scrambler 2016 and light and atc... will be this weeken ready an I hope working all
The 1000 has a slightly shorter sidestand than is needed, this was supposed to be rectfied by 2005 but it's worth checking for the following. Sometimes this means the bolts work loose and sometimes can cause the sidestand kill switch to be an issue, Have you checked to see the bolts are secure and the kill switch is clean on all connections?
I dont think that side stand can do this if moto is in neutral no? side stand can do problem just if is gear on. but in neutral should nbe no problem ....what do you think?
