So I bought a Hypermotard 821 SP yesterday and before I've even had a chance to take it out properly it won't start! Firstly I get a message on the dash saying 'error' Followed by a screen saying SW Rev 03 and PTA Rev 04 Are these some sort of error code?
Yeah so I sort of panicked and posted on here rather than looking in the manual first! Oops I checked the errors menu and it was the battery because i accidentally left the lights on overnight. Charged the battery and problem solved!
Hehe. We've all done it. Oh yes we have. Well, I have anyways. I have occasionally left 916 locked with parking lights on and returned to find the bikes battery flat. Not sure the dislike was warranted myself. So have a like as balance. Oh and welcome to the daft world that is ducati ownership. Its an incurable ailment that will leave you filled with pomposity over other brands and prepared to pay stupid amounts just cos its for a ducati. Enjoy your SP.
