hello and welcome dude. call me old fashioned but I don't think a classic ss is the sorta bike to be trying rolling stopple's on! Still, your bike and wallet. Also film it next time!
Well I never! Shows how much I know! I had to go and look at my bike to see how it may have fallen out! It is a miracle that it fell out on the road at low speed and your friend found it.
Welcome mate, glad its sorted, but as said above, stoppies on a 24 year old SS ? Am quite surprised thats all that fell off ?
its a 303 shell, some one shot at you with a Lee Enfield. Be careful. Welcome or.. centre section of brake/clutch lever
Haha, No you're right, It wasn't really intentional, it just sorta happened as a result of some (not so) youthful exuberance, ahem.... I need to be careful, at my not inconsiderable bulk, that I don't snap the headstock braking that violently, something the ss can be prone to apparently.........
IIRC one of the cush rubbers was missing the metal inner so if that was the one that snapped it's possible it could have backed out toward the disk and into the wheel hub where the jolt of the rear wheel re-connecting to the road could have pinged it out onto the road? Don't actually understand though why that one would have snapped in the first place since it was the one with the softest surroundings?
Haha, Right on both counts! I was out in the sticks, farmers there might not be fond of bikers..........
Hello and welcome to the mad house Please treat the SS with respect they do have stings in their tail if treated badly I'm watching you Pics of bikes and bins now please
