Went out on the Scrambler for a couple of hours first thing, then took SWMBO, #2 son and family out for lunch to a very nice seafood restaurant in Holmfirth. Brownie points in the bag should I decide to try and do a deal to get a new bike this week. We now have two small people running around naked after having had a bath.

GREAT DAY!!! For the first time in a year I managed to throw my gammy leg over a motorcycle and go for a great ride in the lovely sun with a few mates! I borrowed a mates Kawasaki 250 trials bike as it was the lightest thing we could find on the controls- no drama but foot aches a bit but sod it - a bit of a landmark day and I'm still smiling
Forgot to say - when we pulled up at a bit of a posh pub for a pint I said to my mate - " got a few odd looks from beer garden?".He said yeah - open face lid,hoodie,trackie shorts,timberlands and a walking stick taped across the top of your handlebars - what's odd about that??? Hahaha
Open face lid with sunglasses and sod the gloves! If I fell off they could only put me back together better? My mate had the full race suit,boots,gloves the lot on - mind you he was riding my Vin and I told him if he went down he had to hold on and stay held on till it stopped
