I had te same problem , but there is a shop here in belgium and they make a little adapterplate to fit the Garmin 595 It costs 15€ and problem fixed. Their website is https://www.waypointzolder.be/accessoires/motorsteunen/GAGTBA06-aanpassingsset-zumo-3xx.php
All, I did use these guys you need to email them and they will send a link to pay in total its 23 euros. It work well and makes for a tidy install. Mark
Hey Mark , I live in Belgium and like you said , it's the perfect solution to install the garming 595 !
Mark do you have the email address by any chance? I tried clicking on the email links on their site but nothing gives me their email address. I'd love to order up one of these. Looks like the perfect solution for the Zumo 595. Thanks!
Hi, Sure mail is, [email protected] This is the name of the guy who made contact, Jeroen Huygen BR Mark
Hello sir, i have also TomTom Rider, could you please share "the mount cap & the cap to go on the power lead" information like brand, model number, link?
Unfortunately this was last year sometime & if I remember it was on a Dutch website that I would not recognise now SORRY
Hi All. I also have a Tomtom rider, the website for the plastic covers is: http://www.gps.nl/motornavigatie/tomtom_rider_4x0_essential_kit.html. I purchased mine about a year ago...still looks like they are in business.
This thread helped me a lot with the install so I figured I’d upload some pics in case they could help someone else. This is for the Zumo 395 on a 2017 Multistrada 1200s.
#Annoying! Any idea where I can get these 4 rubber jobbies that hold the sat nav, mine has just decided to disintegrate and let the sat nav fall off! I just reordered the mount, expensive option but get the washers the next day.
@Desmo Dave of this parish does an adapter for the Ducati GPS mount, it replaces the plastic part that the 39x series Garmin mount bolts to. Have been running one of these for a year with my Zumo 590 on my 1260 with no issues. I just used cable ties through the holes in the bracket that the cable management in the pics seems to use. If I was buying a mount now I would have purchased @Jamie Clare's version instead which will accommodate the Zumo 590 or any 4 hole AMPS pattern cradle.
If you need any GPS mounting solutions for all Multistrada versions please take a look at my site. Www.iconicparts.uk
I hope you are making a contribution to this site for your advertising. I like the quad lock idea I have recently moved to them on my bike car and electric scooter.
@Jamie Clare Very elegant and solid looking design. Probably does not vibrate as much at low rpm although that wasn't really an issue. You may want to have a top piece with multiple holes for height adjustment.
