On the grounds I'm a crusty cum stain that engages his angle grinder before his brain I've fecked the subframe on the T9 I was mono converting. Question is, will it be ok like this? I'm worried a riders weigh will pull it down and at a twisted angle. Maybe squashing the fuel pipes. Or do I need to find a local fabricators to weld a seat "rest"/ bracket back on? Or just hang it on my garage wall as a reminder not to be a twat?
Hanging reminders of fubar-ed things on the wall can become very expensive. Leaving aide the cost of replacing rather than repairing the item, I found that I needed to acquire more real estate as the walls filled up far too quickly!
It would be the twisting action I'd be worried about. Think about getting on and off, people tend to put their leg over, sit and then shift themselves central. That would create the potential twist.
Had an uncle hang two hanging basket brackets. He couldn't work out why one hanging basket was lower than the other. I had to point out to him that he'd hung one bracket upside down
you wont change a set of pads and disks on a focus, only 4m8's and 4 m10's to remove but you will take an angle grinder to a t9?.
Just to clarify, it's not the bracket between the 2 main tubes that head back I'm worried about, they'll be grand, its the bit above the top tube the seat rests on.
These are @Northan Monkey and @Denzil the Ducati one's. Neither of these have the central /mid bracket. It's the bit on top the seat rests on is my concern. Really am such a dick.
