Happy Boxing day and glad to be a new member to your forum. I was born in the UK and have lived in the USA since I was 5. Grew up with motorbikes and I am currently the astonished owner of a streetfighter S. My Third Italian bike, and I'm completely taken by them. Thanks all for the warm welcome. In response to nuttynick, I can get occasional dry days riding in, but it's quite cool, similar to the UK. The main road over the Cascade mountains to Eastern Washington is closed until May due to snow, but it's a stunning alpine road out of the Austrian Alps. Canada has some beautiful roads, and Eastern Oregon is magical, big lazy sweepers and little traffic. This time of year I will load up the van with the bike in it and drive down to California for a week or so: It has fabulous riding year 'round, and L.A./San Diego is very 'bike oriented.'
