Just treated the bike to a pair of 4000 lumin led bulbs , they appear excellent quality and I’ve uploaded photos of one side done against a osram daylighter and then both done. Tonight’s 112mile commute will tell me if worth it but at first glance they are very very bright and white light . Will post after night ride.cheers chris
Like the look of those but just check how hot those ballast thingys* get sitting on the petrol tank. * Technical term.!
Thank you sir, but i had just carried them to my bike. I hadn't just bought them that was a few weeks ago . Right now the grammars sorted , what are they like ... WOW!!! Just done 112 miles , 30 motorway , rest a roads mix of lit and unlit cross country roads. The white light is a huge difference and the reach is better than my full beams which are osram night breakers so where normally i would be flipping to full beam there was no advantage so i didn't. The other good thing no body flashed me so clearly not dazzling the oncoming vehicles. Well I'm so happy I'm now going to buy two more and start a new thread 'just bought these lights' Thanks thats a really good point. Ill check had thought that was more a hid thing but really good point! will check tomorrow.
The best way is to ride in a lower gear and try to get on the back wheel more, pisses the on comers right off.
