  2. Not very clear to see but the oil runs over the weld on the exhaust and then onto the ground, yes I know cheap skate lol it is a 2 p coin

  3. I recently had mine reworked with an Ohlin's outlet in Huddersfield or Barnsley. I did it through Ducati John in Leeds. I can't remember the cost but it wasn't too bad.

    Excellent pictures btw!

  4. I had an Öhlins from an ST4s done a couple of years ago at Reactive Suspension in York. It cost around £140 for a complete overhaul.

  5. thanks @Derek and @Mary Hinge, sounds that whatever you do, dealer or take out your selves, it is a specialist job then, not to be done by dealer? might just put it on list as I have a few other things which needs doing, please if other people have good experiences with certain companies, do tell and recommend!

  6. I use a footrest stand. If you have folding footrests, turn them upside down. Andy

  7. Reactive suspensions get my vote too.
    Good company and great service.

I would get the whole shock in for a service and refresh and turn the negative onto a positive.

  9. thanks @BladeRR8 , will contact them, first need to work out if I get it removed from bike my selves or put it on the list, my wish list is getting rather long again lol.

  10. I know it's an expense you would probably rather avoid but buy an Abba stand.

Best bit of kit you will own and invaluable for working on the bike. Will pay for itself very quickly.

  11. I use 2 axle stands under the footpegs.

The Ohlins on my 916 had a leak, turned out to be a stonechip in the chrome on the pushrod - needed a new rod at around £70 + seals, oil etc.

I always get mine done by K-tech, excellent service. :upyeah:
