Hi. Quite taken by these and wondered about their specs (2014 / 2015). Do they come with Ducati quickshift as standard or is that only on newer bikes. Also, any probs reading the dash in bright light? Last ? (I think) - is it old school heavy clutch or modern light (ish) affair? Cheers, Andrew.
Dash can be useless if the sun is in just the right place - not often a problem in my experience. Clutch is light.

Gear position indicator, Quickshifter and revised rear footpeg position on the 2017 model along with a smaller fuel tank (1 litre less).
Recently rode the KTM SDR with QS, and like to think I'm old school at riding, but absolutely loved it, was rapid to change and really easy to use. Had an R1 years ago with aftermarket QS fitted and it was shit, but things move on, and the latest ones are very good.
OK maybe i'll try one day - but it seems to take away a bit more of the skill and that seems half the fun to me
Pulling the clutch in, half the fun? Each to their own but a QS definitely improves the experience on a bike for me, it's so satisfying seamlessly banging through the box. Would not be without one (on a performance bike) now. Initially I didn't see the point in a blipper either, but having got used to mine, I'm now loving it. Even though using the clutch is something we do instinctively, now I'm not using it, I definitely feel the benefits of having total grip on the bars the whole time - especially on track. The feeling you get from no clutch pull actually makes me feel more connected to the bike.
No not "pulling the clutch in is half the fun" Doh! I said.......the skill seems half the fun of biking to me If they make bikes as easy to ride as a Honda Jazz ........ I would find that less interesting and less fun
