Hi. I am 63, have riding bikes since I was 16. Just sold my Harley Road King and my BMW R1200GS and bought the Multistrada 1200 S Touring. It was a difficult decision as I had major heart surgery in March this year and now on warfarin. All the doctors advised me against riding again but at 63 I think I am old enough and sensible enough to take it easy but I cannot control other road users but thats a risk we all take every day we walk out the front door. I am retired and live in Bristol. I do not do high miles just sunny days out but the Multi is fantastic and so far I am very happy with my new bike. Edited November 2013 Now coming up 65 in early January. Kept the S Touring for a year but tested the 2013 model, the improvement was so big that I had another new multistrada in June 2013. Very very happy with it. It's now tucked away in the carpeted garage, on the optimate, all ready looking forward to March 2014 and the first ride.
Coming up to 69 in January 2018. Now have a Scrambler Desert Sled after a year not riding/driving due to epilepsy.
