As the bikes got newer they'd go quicker with pro riders on right up to the 1199, Not sure it would tell us anything we don't know. I've owned all...

The s model ohlins forks and headlight are heavier than the base ones, the light wheels make the s lighter. So buy a base and put light wheels on...
The bike was a 996, using 996 yokes the 848 front end drops straight in :)
