I was keen on the KTM 1290R as well after totaled my multi DVT. After digging KTM forum for few weeks, I think ktm quality is worse than Ducati....
The stall Issue stopped for 5 months. But it slowly coming back now and it happen more frequent for the past few days Sigh, time to give up the bike?

I have no idea, even Ducati themselve also not sure what's the cause. They replaced the ECU, throttlebody, airbox lid(2017 version)

Same here in Singapore, except we have all year summer weather. Temperature range around 27 deg C in the morning and 35 deg C in the afternoon....

Dealer claim it's the spark plug arcing causing the issue. Only one cylinder is working... They loaned me an Enduro for Xmas.

Bike is in sport mode in the video. I already reset everything in menu after collected the bike.
Power dip video, look at the speed on the dash while I fully opened up the throttle. RPM cant rev pass to 6k rpm It accelerates like a scooter !...

Update, Ducati factory sent down region rep to check the status of the bike and collecting some data. Bike throttle body replaced, ecu swapped....
