Hi, Hopefully this will hopefully help someone in the future with a 848/1098/1198. I've recently had the dash/electrics on my 1098 cutting out whilst riding. The dash would just go off and the engine die. Sometimes for a second or so and then come back, other times I had to pull over to the side of the road. It turned out to be a reg/rec providing too high a voltage and the dash automatically shuts down to protect itself. Easy fix.... Jamie
