Hi Everyone I need a guinea pig for some 1098 carbon key guards I purchased off another supplier. They are not great quality compared to ours, but they were cheap and so I will sell them cheap. Anyway I just wondered if someone would try one for me to see how they fit, and in return all you have to do is cover the postage cost to send it out. Obviously I can only supply one free, so its first come first serve!
If you still have this offer on the table I will take you up on it. I have now tried three different makes and none fitted correctly. Either it rubbed on the tank in a few places, the ignition barrel hole was wrong or the place where it was bolted down wasn't actually flat so the bolts didn't nip down square. These things may be minor but I am paying for the item to be well made and fit for purpose. Thanks
Hi Mark has taken one and will let me know how it fits, my regular key guards with metal inserts etc fit perfectly but I am out of stock for now. I bought some cheap off another seller to try and get some in stock short term but I am not convinced on there fit and the bolt holes were obviously the wrong size so I have drilled them out. Come back to me in a week, or I will try and remember to let you know the outcome.
