  1. Anybody know?

Last time I tried to get one off, I was using this tiny pair of circlip pliers and I'm not going through that again!

Need to know the size so I can buy some big f*** off pliers!!

  2. 85mm :)

  3. I struggled to get mine off too. I bought the largest pliers I could get from Halfords which opened to 35mm; this wasn't enough but they were strong enough to bend out a little & worked well after. I also ground the points down; they are weak at the end & can distort. If I had more time, I would have looked for some which open to 50mm.

I'm not sure the size of the actual clip matters, its by how much you need to open the gap to clear the hub.

    :upyeah:

  4. I think some of the better ones are rated with the spindle/bore diameter, so I'm gonna get some big ones!

  5. Yea ok. I guess the gap does relate to the diameter. :upyeah:
