1098 Sf From Australia , In The Philippines Atm.

  1. Hello , saddleonup here "peter" actually. Current bikes Ducati 1098 SF, Aprilia 1000R , XR honda. Previous bikes - XL175 honda, TT500 yamaha, Ducati 500, Yamaha LC350, Ducati 750 ss square case 1974. Ducati GT750 square case 1976. Honda VF750F, Honda VFR750R 'RC30". 3 xHarley Davidson sportsters, Harley Davidson Road King. YamahaGP TZ350F . Silverstone Armstrong 250GP. Buell 1200 lightning.
    Road Raced from 1983 to year 2000 (17 years, 15 of those in A grade) Racing Achievements. Qld state champion 3 times, Australian 1000 cc superbike C/ship 4th place 1989. Bathurst Australian 250 GP winner. Australian F2 champion 1995 & 1996 & 1997. Australian SuperTwins champion 1994 . Australian Formula Extreme naked bike Champion 'Buell 1200' 1998, 1999 , 2nd in 2000. Also NZ supertwins champion . [Raced - Isle of Man 1996. N Ireland Northwest 200 . Daytona USA finishing 7th in the supertwins world series] Currently been sailing around in a yacht for the last 13 years - ATM in Philippines.

    You can see @saddleonup by the quality of that little interchange how the Australian form of expression has much to give on here. Still, with the sun not getting up until 8am and setting at 4pm with crap weather in between it's no wonder they are a bit (like kiwis) "not right". :)

  17. Whilst this photo is before both your time in racing and certainly mine, i wonder whether it rings any bells with you and the guys in it (I have a list somewhere). I believe it is of the first Aust superbike race, Amaroo Park, July 1, 1973.

  18. Hmmm, I thought I was just posting a welcome greeting in the newbe's section as suggested. Now I'm all embarrassed that I said so much about myself ! hahaha Oh well lucky I'm 1000's of km's away from all of you. so I guess it don't really matter does it ? Or maybe you can all put it down to, I just have one too many Kangaroo's jumping around in my top paddock. Thanks for making me feel welcome guy's.
