Anyone know the size of the fuse for the starter solenoid on the 916/1098/ 1198 etc? , Going to be fitting a new superseal connector but noticed its only rated to 14amps, Will this be perfectly ok? Its the 1098 solenoid and going to be fitting it to my 888 because I cant get a new connector to replace the 888 one Cheers Jack
It's not fused. The main power leads are direct from battery to solenoid to starter. The switching connection you are reconnecting is very low amperage. A super seal will handle it just fine
