1098R how low are these thing going to go

The Panigale is surely attracting some potential buyers and providing some softness in rhe market, but I think the 1098R will hold a very special place as one of the most successful WSBK winning big twin Ducatis, the ultimate trellis framed racer. If the 99x R superbikes are anything to go by, I reckon most 1098Rs will hold firm in the medium term, possibly with upside from where they are today.

    The Panigale is as yet unproven and the big chassis changes are already proving unsuccessful. 20-24k RRP will also help the 1098R used values remain firm.
