Not sure if there is a thread but watch out for an engine to frame interface issue at the top of the vertical head. easy to modify if required though.
When I stroked my 900SSie with a 1100 crank the extra hight of the engine puts the head very close. I think the 1100 head is taller again than a 900 item I used.
Did you transplant an 1100ds or 1100 evo? Wondering if the mounting points changed. I fear the single side swing arm on the hypermotard is going to scupper my plan somehow.
I transplanted internals in to a 900SSie set of cases. Engine to frame mounts will be ok. Your correct with the swing arm - it will introduce complications. Nothing a little engineering can't fix though. Options are - Transplant internals in to SSie style cases. Modify frame to accept the swing arm I guess its down to the look your after. Have fun.
