Ex Monster 1100 Evo and Paul Smart 1000 LE

Apologies if this is a stupid question. Is the 1100 Evo engine as fitted to the Monster the same unit as fitted to the Hypermotard? Are they identical or is the gearing, fuelling, ECU etc. different for each?

Don't know - but the cam belts are the same, I know that much
