Seen these in the Duc catalogue and they do look lovely but cant locate anywhere that still does them ? Anyone able to point me in right direction? Thanks
Know what you mean however they are hardly visible once 'dressed' and not quite so in your face as they look methinks!
You'll be lucky to get one now as the production of these kits stopped. Best to call a dealer so they can see if ducati have any left on the shelf. When I enquired at MR Craig did have a load of bits left from the race team. Don't know if he still has them. This want a complete kit though.
at the end of the day its some silicone hose ends 2 x 90 degrees and 2 x 45 degrees and getting someone to bend some 25mm ally tube......
No flaring tool - just a pipe bender with 25mm formers - won't bend sharp enough either I don't think looking at the picture of the tightest bend.
I have a set from Venair on the bike, similar to the DP product and bloody pricey. I agree that if you can get Al tube benders etc: it would probably be a dammed site cheaper. You'd also need to get the ends flared (I think that's the term) to make sure the pipes don't slip off. Photo of mine, PIA to fit at first, sorry its not the best pic in the world but maybe give you an idea I have one of the Al pipes spare so I can take dimensions from it if you require John
John Saw those venair kits - are the black pipes ali? Also is the red on the silicone as orangey as it looks in the pic? Are venair a well known brand?
Loverbot I'm afraid yes they are not as red as they seemed in the E Bay picture I bought them from. The posted picture depicts the color more accurately. The pipes are anodized aluminum. I had heard of them as a manufacturer before reasonably well known IMHO Link Tuning Venair - KIT MOTO 600001090457 Looks as if they have got even dearer than the price I paid which I thought was pretty steep John
