Bought a few bits of a fellow forum member to sell on and seem to be struggling to sell this rare alluminium tank. Great condition inside and out, original paint as well. I also have some 1198SP panels which came off the same bike im happy to do a deal on as well. Had the tank on ebay for a few weeks at £1350 but happy to do a deal for a forum member of course. *** REDUCED - £1000 *** The rest of the panels on the bike can be seen here. Unfortunately i dont have the lowers. I have the nose, upper left, upper right and the tail unit including pillion cover. thinking £500 for the panels. They arent advertised anywhere currently.
Perhaps try listing on the 848/1098/1198 Facebook group? I sold the exact same tank in 15 mins for $1500 + shipping.
I have had this on my watch list for a while. Would love to have it but can't justify the asking price.
but it's even black R.. go and find the most expensive quote for painting a tank, and maybe justify it that way.
