Any issues with 1198's, I have found a cat d one on eBay, it's a good price in my opinion, 9000 miles, itsin belgium at the moment on a uk plate, being shipped back over in the next week or two, bit odd to me, uk plate, but n Belgium, I have asked him to email some more pictures and I will also do a check on the bike Also do the parts sell easily as I want to cafe racer it and will not need the fairing, seat unit, exhaust, headlight etc. Cheers
Most things sell if priced correctly. Fairings and exhausts always seem popular if in good condition. I have in the back of my mind a similar bike up for sale on ebay several months ago, UK registration but bike in Belgium. Big question for me is what's a UK cat D insurance write off doing in Belgium in the first place. You sound keen on it so I hope it doesn't turn out to be the scam it sounds like. Andy
I have done a hpi check it's uk registered, insurance cat c, with an mot, going to call dvla as I am not sure if there should be a document to say it's been put back on the road I am not sure why it's in belgium
No net necessarily, I was looking for a cheep, 1098, 848 to cafe racer, I can get this for £5,300, so cheep, but no history and cat c, I will be giving up a spotless1300 mile hyper 1100s
ah right ok mate, im selling my 1198 if your interested?? could do a deal if there are some parts you dont want on there would make it cheaper for you.
Nice bike but too much for me to do what I want, the other one is cheep and I still get to sell the bits I don't want
