Hi. I am in a position where I can buy a 2013 Panigale 1199 S. The bike has 15000km (9375miles) on the clock. Is the bikes engine reliable? Reason I am asking is I had a bearing failure on my 848EVO at 12000km (7500miles). The bike is well looked after and I want to buy but I am once bitten and twice shy. Do anyone own a Panigale 1199 with more km/miles on? Any other good or bad points to know?
I had a customer crack 32k on his first Pani and is now well over 18k on his second. Engines have been faultless.
No Wayne, that is miles.. The second bike has been very good. The first had a few warranty claims, mostly corrosion problems as the bike was ridden in all weathers. All issues sorted under warranty and at service. Bike didn't let customer down, the issues were spotted during service etc. Use them, look after them and they'll pay back with good service.
My 2013 1199s has done 10,800 miles. Had a indicator problem when bike got hot, and also a starter relay problem also when hot. But its been pretty faultless really, other than that.
