Can anyone please tell me if you can change the view to display the amount of fuel left or mileage left in the tank. thanks
From memory, no. I just set one of the trip meters each time I fill up and when it gets to around 90 miles, I fill up again.
Ive managed 25m on my 1198 when the light came on. But I wouldnt push your luck that far. I was in France. It was Sunday and could I find an open fuel station? I was on vapour. 20miles would be my limit before I started crying.
Yep, and if it does splutter and stop don't leave it, push it, carry it or even hijack a passing van. A chap near me run his 1198 out of fuel and left it parked on the side of the road for literally ten minutes whilst he legged it to the garage down the road, and yes you've guessed it, by the time he got back someone had nicked it!.
Based on yesterday's experience I reckon I had 30 miles plus out of reserve, mind you I was riding at 45 mph
