Gents just purchased a 1199 race bike today and it has the 70mm superbike exhaust on it. Can anyone advice which bodywork will fit with this exhaust and still be allowed to race in the UK? The current bellypan is open ended if you know what I mean and wouldn’t contain oil so therefore wouldn’t pass scrutineering. has anyone had this issue and over come it ?
I’m guessing you’d need to add fibreglass to bits that are exposed. May look a bit naff tho and take some messing with
Full six are doing a belly pan extension, or the other one is to buy the racing belly pan and trim it then fiberglass it to fit tho... couple off fixings and should do the job
