Hi Does anyone know if anyone is making the new twin rear exit wsbk exhaust system for the 1199? I'm looking to buy one or have one made up. Thanks
In conversation with a friend from the BSB paddock, I was told that the Ducati WSB exhaust has been developed for one reason and one reason only, managing engine braking. Sophisticated electronics package that varies in exhaust pipe valves that maximise engine braking and acceleration out of corners. Even if it were made available to the general public, I can't see what benefit it would have on a road bike and IMO you would need to be already racing to be able to drive the system on track. At 115db it is also extremely loud which disqualifies it from domestic series in the UK like the BSB. Andy
The current BSB bike can't do some test days because it's over 102db and I also think the wsbk style of exhaust will be on the next 1299 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
