I'm changing my DVT for a V4s next week and wondering if any of the accessories will transfer. Has anyone moved the OEM fog lights from a DVT to a V4? I've also fitted bar risers - which I guess will still fit the v4. No need for the Navihalter with the super new Ducati Connect I guess.
The DVT lights will work - the issue will be how you can mount them on the V4. The V4S brackets are different and fit into two bolt holes each side of the side mounted rads, The DVT brackets will need modifying or new ones made up. I bit the bullet and had the new Ducati OEM lights fitted. Bar risers should be OK but not sure. The Navihalter won't fit the new screen mounts, best get a Sat Nav mount from Iconic or Evotek, not tried the Ducati connect way via the phone and doubt I ever will!
Be aware that accessories drawing a different current to what the ECU expects will cause an error to be shown.

I gave up with the Ducati system on the DVT as life is too short. Having read the forum comments on Connect and Sygic I'm not expecting great things with the v4 but hoped I wouldn't need to arrange a mount and wiring for the Zumo. I guess that's what winter weekends are for.....
