Quick advice please: What are the torque settings for the drain plug and oil filter - just checking? I have found: Drain Plug - 20 Nm - very small with 5 mm allen key head Oil Filter - 11 Nm Also, I have seen it said to use Threebond TB1215 - I assume like a loctite - is this necessary? I will be using a new copper washer anyway. Many thanks in advance.
Oh well - a bit disappointed that I have no replies - so I have done it anyway using the torque setting that I think are correct and without the Threebond
Sorry missed this but I don’t service my bikes so can’t comment but I did drain a little oil from my scrambler recently (overfilled by previous seller) and the drain bolt is 21Nm if I recall correctly
Thanks Ackers, it seems I am on the right lines then. Seems to be no leaks so hopefully the Threebond is a bit OTT.
