1200r Race Shift

  1. Has anyone successfully converted a 1200r to race shift? Is it a simple case of moving the shift arm 180 deg or do you need a longer shift rod? Is there any clearance issues with the standard set up?

  2. Pretty straight forward I’d say. Did my KTM SDR last year. Took 2 minutes flat. On the 1200R you may need an additional rose joint, I’m not entirely sure… YouTube it :upyeah:

  3. thanks… I’ve looked on YouTube but can’t find anything. Googling it is undecided…some say it’s possible with existing shift rod others say it’s not?
