I had my last 2 Ducati's tuned with termi's. The ST 2 was a new computer chip send in the post (small little thing), plug in and away you go. I did set the TPS and balance the throttle bodies myself. The 1100 Multi was a new unit in the post as I recall. Yet again install and away you go. Now the 1260 is all new to me. You go to a tuning center and they run your bike on a dyno and create you a custom map I believe. So my questions are: 1) The Multi has 4 riding modes, so is there a different map created for each mode ? 2) Is the map protected from being accidentally overwritten if your at the main dealer and they do a software update ? 3) How well will the bike respond if you tell the tuner you want the bike to run as smooth as possible in the low and mid rpms, and your not too bothered about the hi-end hose power figure ? 4) My nearest tuner is PDQ near Slough. Any recommendations about their ability to tune Ducatis ? Cheers
And deleting the exhaust flapper valve...? That, a throttle spacer and a change to 14/40 gearing has made my 1260 so much better at lower speeds.
Exhaust flapper delete planned for this weekend if it stops raining ! Throttle spacer already fitted.
If you want to spend the cash, getting the termi race set with the race map with it, it transforms the bike. https://www.desmo-racing.com/en/ful...tistrada-1260-96481471a-xml-447_492-4744.html
