On Facebook this am. So my friends brothers bike (It's a Ducati 1299 Panigale S Anniversario) got stolen this evening at her dads shop Riverside Hifi in Richmond so if you could please share this post to try and get bike back or if anyone has seen or knows anything. If anyone hears or sees anything please contact Thames valley police. Please share!! ♀️ *update* stolen around 9pm tonight (26/11/2016) Number embossed into the bike - 213/500 Chassis number: ZDMH903AAGB006950 Engine number: ZDM1285W4*006238* There was about 10 men, all wearing gloves and balaclavas. They managed to hot wire the bike to get it out of the shop.
Gutted to hear about the theft.Proof that if the thieving bastards want it badly enough they will plunder it no matter what you do to protect it? Apart from sleeping next to it with a 12 Guage! Now there's an idea?
That does seem dodgy that one. '10 men and they got wired it and ride it away' was in one FB post. As someone said when I shared it: is that s 1994 version Panigale?
....it was her uncles, cousins, dogs, boyfriends bike.... or whatever.... so not exactly a first hand account
I doubt you'd bother faking a theft of one of these. Not when one bid up to £30k on EBay just a week or so ago. You'd be much better off selling it and making some money.....
Was he having a stereo fitted to it can't think of any other reason for a bike to take you bike to a hifi shop.
If you read the post, it belonged to the boyfriend of the shop owners daughter... so was obviously being used as a display piece whilst the weather was no good for riding.
Guess he can't have a garage to put it in then where its safe out of sight and insured,of trying to impress the future father in law
A binned bike isn't saleable for 30k. Just saying Not sure which I prefer: a fraudulent claimer or a scumbag stealing more bikes?! Tough one, both cost us in premiums
Riverside Hifi - TV Shops Richmond, Hifi Richmond, Audio Shop Twickenham Tuning?... at a company that sells TV's and turntables?!! ....and it must take them quite a while to tune it, because it was there in a lot of the photos on their website that I doubt have only just been put on there....
