Hmm... All this talk of riding aids, improved road manners, electronics makes me worry Ducati will become Audified. Make no mistake I'm sure it'll be a beast but will all these things lead to dullness and bikes being built so any idiot can ride one without ending up in a box on the first outing?. If anyone saw tonight's Top Gear look what they said about the new Lamborghini - it's lost what the older Lambo's had!. Oh and it happens to be owned by Audi, spot the connection?.
I don't in all honesty think we would be able (or even allowed?) to ride 200bhp road bikes without electronic aids.
I find it really amusing that the TC light flashes basically as soon as he's on the gas at the apex of each corner... I think that it would take some amount of skill (and a giant pair of man-melons) to ride this without any traction control on!
The quickest guys when i went there were just under 2 minutes on fully sorted trackday bikes. So for a road bike in January its pretty good. Stick it on slicks on a warmer day and it would be a damn sight faster...
